Tris Carpenter - bass/vocals

Tris “Duke” Carpenter is a Boston native who cut his bass playing teeth in a variety of crappy high school bands just like the rest of us.  Over time he moved on to bigger and better things.  After a few years of playing with country, blues and pop bands in Western Mass., Duke moved to Connecticut where he spent nearly three years with both a blues band and a post-punk band playing gigs from Boston to NYC.  In 2000 Duke packed the convertible and headed to Hollywood.  Since his arrival he has played behind a wide variety of artists who appreciate his "less is more" style and deep, in the pocket groove.
